	Esatblished in 2000, the Oak Street Inn has evolved to be one of the most enjoyable lodging experiences in the UP. We pride ourselves on cleanliness, quality and friendly service, accenting our spacious and comfortable Guest Suites and the Acorn House. Our location in the heart of the Keweenaw "wonderland" makes the "OSI" the perfect location to explore from... and the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourselves... within walking distance of the vibrant Village of Calumet... with its magic historic charm and fine restaurants, saloons, services, and entertainment. The Oak Street Inn occupies a finely restored building built in 1879. The restoration effort has provided for modern convenience and lodging comfort while maintaining the buildings original historic character. The Inn is perfectly suited for lodging of groups... reunions, ski or snowmobile groups, families, church or wedding groups, clubs and sports teams. Our original storefronts once housed saloons, soda shops, candy stores and markets. The storefronts are now set up for lounging, mingling, games, spreading out, watching TV or videos, storing equipment and sports gear, etc.. We call this area "The Lounge". New this year is our incredible 12 person Roman SPA and relaxation room accessed through the Lounge. Step down into the mosaic tiled in-floor spa and enjoy the powerful jets, or sit quietly as you relax. The second floor holds our two large guest Suites. Each suite spreads out to three bedrooms with 5 queen beds, two large bathrooms, a modern fully equipped kitchen with dining room, plenty of living space and ample closet space. Wood floors, mosaic tile work, original trim and quality furnishings accent these 1200 square foot suites. Adjacent to the Inn is the popular Acorn House. This two story house sleeps up to 12 and features a large kitchen, living spaces, two baths and three bedrooms. Guests of the house also can enjoy the Lounge and Spa in the main building.
