The Oak Street Inn offers visitors a unique, quality lodging experience in the midst of the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula. Groups of up to ten can stay either of our two 1200 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath and full kitchen Suites. These units have been finely restored to offer you modern convenience and comfort while maintaining their original historic character.

The suites occupy the second floor of one of the areas earliest commercial buildings located on scenic Oak Street, just three blocks from the center of Calumet Village. The first floor has retained it's original two storefronts. Both suites have a full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and range with complete kitchen accessories, a dining room, a historic bathroom with it's original claw foot tub plus a large modern bathroom, three bedrooms with a total of 5 queen size beds, a spacious living room which includes a television with cable service and a VCR, a fold out couch and other furnishings. Plenty of towels, extra linens, and other amenities are within the units. One suite is called the Copper Suite, and the other, the Silver Suite. Each enjoys nice views of Calumet, the community of Red Jacket, the old train depot and the renowned St. Paul the Apostle church across the street.

One of the storefronts has been made into our 900 square foot Guest Lounge, where people can mingle, watch TV, play games, arrange gear, etc. or use the 6 person jacuzzi.
